Blount County, TN - A 25-year-old woman was arrested after police found her unconscious in her car while holding a can of computer duster. The woman purchased three cans of computer duster then proceeded to drive to her local church to celebrate her sobriety. She later crashed into a tree then drove away before passing out in an intersection. Police found her at the intersection after seeing that cars had backed up from her restricting the flow of traffic.

Oregon Teen Faces Lawsuit After Driving While Under Influence of Inhalants

St. Helens, OR - An 18-year-old, Kody Allen, has been sued for 3 million dollars after committing vehicular manslaughter while under the influence of nitrous oxide. Other defendants that were named were Allen's parents and the owner of the tobacco store where Allen purchased the nitrous oxide. Allen obtained the nitrous oxide from inhaling whipped cream chargers from the tobacco store. He then inhaled them and drove a mile before swerving and killing 34-year-old Arthur Studer. Allen's parents were named, as they are the ones who own the car and are thus liable for his negligence. The owner of the tobacco store was named since Allen was a frequent customer of the store and the owner should have know what Allen's intentions were with the nitrous oxide. The store owner also did not provide Allen any warning for the dangers and side effects.

During a preliminary hearing, charges of aggravated assault and misdemeanor DUI were waived. After inhaling, the man passed out while driving and crashed his vehicle into another car, injuring the other driver. The doctor specializes in treating addiction, but had his medical license suspended for struggling with addiction himself.

Two men in Brushfork, West Virginia were burned after one of them requested a light to huff from a propane tank causing an explosion. The 59-year-old man drove away after the explosion. Wisconsin Woman Arrested after Driving Under the Influence of Inhalants
On the morning of October 29th, a 41 year old
woman from Green Bay Wisconsin was sentenced to 18 months in prison for
operating a vehicle while under the influence of an inhalant. The court cited
the fact that she was convicted of four separate charges of driving under the
influence prior to this latest incident for the stiff sentence.
After she is released, she will serve three years of
extended supervision. Also she will have her license suspended for three years.
Additionally, the Brown County judge ruled that she must have an ignition
interlock installed into her car for two years afterwards.

Tennessee Man Arrested for Huffing and Driving

A 35 year old man from Rockvale, Tennessee man was taken into custody
on Tuesday night at approximately 6:40 PM after allegedly huffing and driving. While
responding to a call regarding someone having a seizure behind the wheel, a
local officer claims to have witnessed the man spraying canned duster into his
nose while pulled over to the side of the road.
Upon confronting him, the officer claims that the man
refused to cooperate. After gaining access to the car by breaking through a
window, the Tennessee man reportedly put up a brief struggle against the
arresting officer. From there he was taken first to a hospital and then to
jail. Currently, he is being charged with resisting arrest and driving under the influence. The bond
is set at $4,000.

A 36 year old man faces charges after an inhalant related incident. He took off in a car without the owner's permission and subsequently took out a couple of mailboxes, went off the road, traveled across the lawn into a pasture, damaging a fence, the field and the vehicle.
When the car got stuck the first time, a 14 year old jumped out and ran to the road for help. The second time, the officer approached the car and noticed the driver had locked himself in and was huffing computer dusting spray.
He was taken to the detention center on a felony charge of driving after habitual offender revocation and charges of leaving the scene of an accident and driving to endanger because of the teen in the vehicle. His license is revoked on a prior charge of driving under the influence and he was also given a summons on a civil charge of ingesting inhalants.

The driver was slumped over the steering wheel but drove off when a passenger in the other car approached. His car was found a few blocks away with a can of computer duster under the seat. The can was cold indicating it had recently been used. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, hit and run with injury, improper lane change, ingesting, and no proof of insurance.
