Florida Man Arrested For Inhaling Harmful Chemicals

A Florida man was arrested after police saw him passed out in his car with a can of computer duster. Police responded to a call regarding a man huffing computer duster and when officers arrived they found the man, "passed out in his vehicle, clutching a can of [duster] to his chest." The man told police he had been, "huffing since the sun was up." Officers found about 50 cans of duster in his car, most of which were empty. The man was arrested on charges of inhaling harmful chemicals.

Texas Woman in Prison After Getting High in Front of Her Child

A woman in Odessa, Texas was spotted in a car by police in a parking lot. The police smelled chemicals coming from the car and confronted the woman, who responded in a slow manner. Upon investigation, police discovered she had been huffing toluene, a clear, liquid chemical, inside the car. The woman's two-year-old son was in the backseat. The woman was arrested and taken to prison.

South Dakota Woman Crashes Car After Huffing Behind the Wheel
Via KOTA, Radio 1380 in South Dakota:
Earlier this week, a 20 year old woman crashed her car after
allegedly abusing computer duster behind the wheel. She was driving with a 20 year old male passenger
when she crashed into three vehicles in traffic. After fleeing the scene she
crashed into another vehicle and lost control of the car.
When medical personnel responded, they saw the passenger
inhaling from the can of computer duster. The driver was arrested for DUI,
ingesting, hit and run, and no proof of insurance. The passenger, was arrested
for ingesting.

Indiana Woman Huffs While Driving with 2 Year Old Child in the Car

A 43 year old woman was charged with huffing behind the
wheel after crashing her car twice last week. The sheriff investigators noted she was inhaling from a can
of computer duster while driving and that a 2-year-old child she was babysitting
was in the backseat.

Wisconsin Woman Crashes Car While Huffing

This past week a Wisconsin woman was charged with intentionally using a hazardous substance after huffing and crashing her car into City Hall. The accused was sentenced to two years probation, and an order not to inhale or have aerosol cans in her possession.

Illinois Crash Caused by Driver Huffing Behind the Wheel

A 33 year old woman was cited for driving under the influence,
improper lane use and operating an uninsured vehicle after an inhalant related
car crash.
The driver admitted to huffing computer dusting spray behind the
wheel before passing out. The car then lurched into a yard, went through a bush
and hit a tree. Two passengers in the car (ages 21 and 22) were taken to the
hospital.
Illinois Driver Found Guilty of Abusing Inhalants and Causing Fatal Crash

Yesterday, a 20 year old man was found guilty of two
felonies (aggravated driving under the influence and reckless homicide)
stemming from a November 29, 1011 fatal car crash. He had blacked out while
driving and three of his passengers (ages 15, 16 and 18) were killed.
The man’s legal team argued he had a seizure which caused
the accident. However the prosecutors showed and he acknowledged he had bought
a can of computer duster before the crash.
