Connecticut Woman Faces Drug Charges
An officer found a woman huffing nitrous oxide in a parking lot after a citizen informed the police of her suspicious behavior. Police found other drugs on her persons. She was charged with possession of a restricted substance, possession of a hallucinogenic substance, illegal possession of MDMA and drug paraphernalia, as well as operating a vehicle with a suspended licences.

Man Charged for Huffing in Parking Lot
Police were notified when two people were acting suspicious in a car parked in a shopping center. A male and female were found to be under the influence of inhalants. The male was charged with with unlawful use of inhalants and contributing to the delinquency of a minor as the female was 17. Both were medically cleared by paramedics.

Man Suffers Heart Attack From Huffing
On March 10, a woman died from Sudden Sniffing Death Syndrome. She was huffing in a store parking lot wither her boyfriend, who was transported to the hospital after complaints of feeling ill. The man later learned he had suffered a heart attack.

Man Steals Car and Shoplifts Duster
A teacher in Stamford, Connecticut, reported her SUV stolen by her boyfriend who has long been addicted to huffing duster. Police found the man huffing stolen duster in a shopping center parking lot. In addition to previous pending criminals cases, the man was charged with first-degree larceny for stealing the car and sixth-degree larceny for shoplifting.

Woman Damages Five Vehicles After Huffing
A woman damaged two vehicles while driving and three vehicles while parking in a shopping center. Police found the woman huffing an aerosol cleaner. She claimed to believe huffing would help her stop her drug addiction. The woman was arraigned in court. This is her third recorded incident of driving under the influence.

Indiana Man Arrested for Huffing in Parking Lot
A 26-year-old, Bloomington, Indiana man was arrested after police were called to the parking lot of a Kmart.
According to police the man had purchased cans of duster and was huffing them in his car. A 14-year-old boy was also in the car, but police say he did not appear to be intoxicated. The man was arrested on preliminary charges of inhaling toxic vapors.

Michigan Man Cited for Huffing in Parking Lot
On Saturday, Michigan police officials arrested a Canton man for huffing a can of spray in order to get high. Police found the man in his car, slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle and reported that the driver seemed "out of it." A can of aerosol was found in between the seats of the car.

Huffing and Child Neglect
Last week, a man in Jasper Indiana, was arrested for inhaling toxic vapors, neglect of a dependent and criminal recklessness.
The man was found sitting in his vehicle in a parking lot with the windows rolled up. According to witnesses, he had been sitting in the vehicle with a small child “for a lengthy amount of time.” A woman knocked on the driver’s window repeatedly to get the man’s attention. When he rolled down the window, the woman saw several cans of duster in the vehicle. The woman told the man that help was on the way, but he drove to another parking lot.
Police were notified, and they found the vehicle in a nearby parking lot. The man and the child were taken to the hospital for observation since the man had been huffing and the child had been in the car for about three hours with the windows rolled up. After he was released from the hospital, the man was taken to the Jasper Police Department.
