Tucson, AZ: The daughter of a 50-year-old Tucson man took to social media to spread awareness on huffing after her father’s passing. Her video post tells the story of her father’s inhalant abuse and discusses the dangers of these habits going unnoticed.

Man in Illinois Found Dead in a Ditch Due to Inhalants

In Illinois, a man was found dead in a ditch near a strip mall parking lot. The 43-year-old's body showed no signs of trauma and police found numerous cans of duster surrounding him in the ditch. The cause of death is still pending, but they suspect it was an overdose. According to the man's family, he was on his way to recovery and beating his addiction. A family friend talked to him a month before his death and claimed that he was doing great. They are not sure what lead to his probable relapse.

Huffing May Be Cause of Death in Fight in Missouri

A 31-year-old Springfield, Missouri man died after passing out during a fight.  The other man in the fight is now facing charges.Investigating police say that huffing may have been involved.  The man had been inhaling computer duster spray prior to the fight.

Illinois Man Dies of Inhalant Abuse

A 47-year-old Illinois man died from huffing computer duster spray.  The man was arrested for inhaling compressed gas in the parking lot of a Walmart and for driving under the influence. He was taken to the Police Department where he began complaining of shortness of breath. An ambulance was called and the man was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Missouri Teenager Dies Due to Huffing

A Missouri mother is speaking out against inhalant abuse after losing her 17-year-old daughter to huffing.  The young girl's mother found her dead in her bedroom.  The girl had been huffing from a can of computer duster.  The girl's mother and sister want to spread awareness and education on the dangers of inhalant abuse in order to save another family from experiencing this same loss.

North Carolina Man Dies in Huffing Incident

A 52 year old, North Carolina man was found dead inside his car in a Walmart parking lot.  Police Officers arrived at the parking lot after receiving a call about a suspicious vehicle involving a person with some type of medical problem.  When Police arrived, they discovered the deceased man in his truck.  EMS responded to the scene as well and discovered burns around the mans nostrils that are consistent with huffing.  Cans of computer dusting spray were found in the man's car, and video surveillance showed the man buying the duster product inside of Walmart.  An autopsy and toxicology report are pending.

Kentucky Driver and Passenger Killed In Huffing Related Crash

A Russellville, Kentucky man was killed after driving his pick-up truck head on into a Walgreen's sign.  The driver and one of the passengers died at the scene.  Two other passengers, including an 11-year-old, were life flighted from the scene. The two are listed in critical but stable condition. 

Police believe the use of inhalants was a factor in the crash, along with high speeds.  The accident is still under investigation.
