Authorities Find "Whip Its" in Routine Traffic Stop

In a routine traffic stop, authorities found an 18-year-old driver and three underage teens in possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphenalia. All were arrested and charged with marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession, and distribution of marijuana.

"Whip its" (cans of nitrous oxide) were also found.

Car Goes Airborne After Driver Huffs

Last Monday, three teens were injured in a huffing related car accident.
Around noon, the 17 year-old male driver, a 17-year old male passenger, and another 16 year old male passenger were allegedly huffing computer duster while traveling in the car. The driver passed out and the car “crossed the lanes of traffic and began driving in a ditch on the south side of Route 34.” The car then became airborne, struck a traffic signal control box, landed on the street and then came to a stop on the other side of the roadway.”

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured. All three suffered minor injuries and were treated at the hospital and released.

The driver was “ charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicating substance, driving under the influence of marijuana, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and two counts of reckless conduct.”

High Teens Crash Lawnmower

Two Fraser teens are facing several criminal charges after they stole a riding lawnmower and crashed it into a police squad car while high. The suspects- 17 and 18 year-old males are accused of stealing a lawnmower and driving it to a local convenience store to purchase a can of aerosol to ‘huff.’ While on their way home, the teens high from ‘huffing’ aerosol crashed into a police cruiser just before sunrise last Saturday. Damages are estimated at a couple hundred dollars. No one was injured in the collision. Both teens face felony charges of receiving and concealing stolen property, malicious destruction of police property and underage consumption of alcohol.
