A 31-year-old New Jersey woman was arrested on charges of being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. Police were called about a "disoriented" woman. The responding officer said, "it appeared that the woman had been 'huffing chemicals in order to get high.'"

After a chemical scare where neighbors had to be evacuated, police suspected a bomb or crystal meth lab. However they soon realized it was "part of an alleged huffing scheme to make a quick buck." Baltimore police noted that an 18 year old man and a 19 year old man, were "mixing engine starter fluid with water, pouring it into bottles in an attempt to distribute it, so it could be used an inhalant."

New Zealand teenagers who were allegedly 'huffing' end with burns

Two teens are currently being treated for burns from 2 explosions in a home. The teenagers were huffing gasoline from glass bottles when the explosion happened. Fire investigators have not yet determined the cause of the explosions.

Man Forces Sexual Abuse Victim to Huff Fly Spray
A man in Rotorua is accused of forcing his 13-year-old victim to huff fly spray before sexually assaulting her.
The man plead not guilty to sexually violating the girl in her own home.
The victim reports after many attempts by the aggressor to try to get her to inhale the spray, she finally gave in.
The victim reports feeling dazed after inhaling the substance and at that time the man sexually abused her.
The case is still on trial.

Man Huffs Himself Unconscious in County Sherrif's Parking Lot

A 29-year-old Batesville man was taken into custody after huffing himself unconscious in the parking lot of the Independence County Sherrif's office.
A deputy found the man slumped over the wheel of his vehicle with a can of compressed gas near his nose.
The deputy reported that the man was incoherent and could barely stand.

Huffing Crash Leaves Man in Wheelchair

A 25-year-old Rapid City man, has pleaded guilty to vehicular battery in a crash that occured on May 7.
Inhaling dust cleaner led him to black out while driving. As a result, three vehicles were involved in the accident including a 4-year-old child and a motorcycle driver. The 4-year-old's father was the only driver involved critically injured.
The 4-year-old's father, now in a wheel chair, is slowly regaining some movement and speech.
"He still has a long way to go," said Pennington County Deputy State's Attorney.
The man will be sentenced Dec. 3, facing up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.

Arizona Man Chokes Woman After Huffing Dusters

Earlier this month a 27 year-old man was arrested in an inhalant abuse related incident.
Police responded to a call regarding a man threatening a woman with a knife. They found a woman crying in the driveway and saw a male run back inside the house. The woman told police the man had huffed two cans of computer duster so she asked him to leave. He became violent and verbally threatened her before grabbing her hair and choking her.
Police saw the man “pick up an aerosol can and inhale the vapor through a straw while the officer was negotiating with him to leave the home.” He was treated at the hospital for chemical inhalation and then arrested for unlawful imprisonment, aggravated assault, criminal damage, disorderly conduct, and assault, all per domestic violence.
