A 22 year old male was arrested earlier this week after motorists on the highway saw him huffing computer dusters behind the wheel of his car. Men in a moving van noticed him huffing, stopped the truck, pulled him out of the car, and moved his jeep out of traffic. An officer noticed traffic backing up and when he spoke with the driver his "pupils were pin dot size, his speech was slow, and he was unsteady on his feet." He was arrested on a compliant of public intoxication and was released from jail the following day.

Young Man Found Dead Off of Massachusetts Highway
Via Wicked Local Wareham in Massachusetts:
A 22-year-old Stoughton man was recently found dead off Cranberry Highway in East Wareham, Massachusetts. Officials found multiple cans of compressed-gas duster and cleaning products around the body, indicating the man had been huffing.
The man appeared to have been left there for two to three days before police arrived.

Missouri Man Arrested for Huffing
Via Quincy Herald-Whig in Illinois and Missouri:
A 20 year old man was arrested for huffing on Sunday afternoon after walking in and out of traffic on a busy highway in Missouri. When an officer arrived, the offender tried to get away and ended up getting in a small altercation with the policeman. The officer arrested the young man, and later found two cans of aerosol spray in his possession. The offender was charged with resisting/interfering arrest, and possession of a mind-altering substance.

Wisconsin Tightens DUI Law

Police in Wisconsin have arrested and charged a 42 year old woman with her fifth consecutive DUI (driving under the influence of an illegal substance) after she rolled her truck on a busy interstate highway. Accident reports cite the woman as being heavily intoxicated at the time of the crash and ‘huffing’ computer duster. A passerby who witnessed the accident and stopped to help told police they found the driver still 'huffing' after the crash. She was issued a non-alcohol related DUI as a result of driving while high off computer duster. The woman escaped without injury and was arrested on the scene.
Wisconsin is just one of the many states implementing more aggressive and tighter driver safety laws regarding driving while ‘under the influence.’ DUI charges are now being issued to individuals who operate a motor vehicle while impaired from ANY substance or product.
