Woman Faces Multiple Charges After Huffing and Driving

In Louisiana, deputes found a woman unconscious behind the wheel of her car. Witnesses say the vehicle was swerving and crossing lanes. When police approached the vehicle on the highway, the driver was inhaling from a can of duster and proceeded to lose consciousness. The 36-year-old faces multiple charges including operating a vehicle while intoxicated and obstruction of highway commerce.

South Carolina Woman Huffs Furniture Polish and Passes Out Behind the Wheel

A 29 year old woman has been charged with “inhaling aromatic hydrocarbons” after an inhalant related car crash.  

The police report notes the pickup truck had driven up on the shoulder and became lodged against a tree.  First responders found the driver passed out behind the wheel, holding a can of “furniture dusting solution.” The truck was still running and the doors were locked. 

The driver came to and admitted to huffing the product before passing out. She was issued a ticket and released to family members.
