Arrested for Huffing Hours after Release from Jail

Via NWI Times in Indiana:

The 27-year-old woman whose arrest was in Wednesday’s blog post was arrested for inhaling aerosols hours after she was released from jail.

The woman’s relatives asked police to go to her apartment for a well-being check. At first, the woman appeared to be fine and spoke with the officers. When police returned 40 minutes later to check on her again, the woman did not answer the door. Through a window, an officer saw the woman “laying on the floor with a canister next to her face.”

The police obtained a search warrant and found the woman with a “cold, frosted aerosol can” as well as 10 other aerosol cans in the apartment. The woman was examined at a local hospital before she was arrested again. She will face charges for allegedly inhaling toxic vapors.
