Trial Starts for Woman Accused of Fatal Car Crash

Bowling Green, OH: A woman has began trial for a fatal 2016 car crash. A case of beer, a bag of marijuana and a can of duster were found inside the vehicle. She is facing seven counts including two counts of involuntary manslaughter, one count of reckless homicide, one count of aggravated vehicular homicide, one count of possession of cocaine, one count of driving under a financial responsibility law suspension or cancellation and one count of operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance.

Man Arrested for Inhalant Use Following Road Incident

Fairfield, Connecticut: A man ran his vehicle into a utility pole. Officers found that the man discarded a bag at a local gas station containing a cold can of compressed air. Man was charged with operating under the influence of an inhalant.

St. Helens, OR: An 18-year-old St. Helens man, accused of first-degree manslaughter, faces five new charges after his vehicle crash on September 5th. Kody Allen is accused of abusing inhalants and attempting to conceal the canisters when approached by police. After drifting onto the shoulder of the road, Allen struck pedestrian Arther R. Studer, killing him instantly. Additionally, Allen faces charges for damage to a utility pole and a replica car.

Man Facing 16 Years In Prison in Huffing Related Crash

A Washington teen was convicted of vehicular homicide and three counts of vehicular assault. The young man caused a car crash after huffing, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old girl and injuries to three others. The driver who caused the accident was not injured. After the crash, he tested positive for difluoroethane, a chemical found in computer duster. He is facing 16 years in prison.

Driver Who Caused Fatal Crash Sentenced to 11 Years

A driver was inhaling keyboard cleaner when he rear ended another vehicle, fatally inuring a 9-year-old girl. He was convicted of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and received a DUI. Five canisters of the cleaner were found in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Man Sentenced to Prison in Huffing Related Car Crash

Jury convicted a man of gross vehicular manslaughter for crashing into a car after huffing computer duster. A 9-year-old girl sustained brain damage and was pronounced dead a number of days later. The man faces ten years in prison. The man had four cans of computer duster in his vehicle and had elevated levels of the chemical found in the duster, difluorethane.

A 34-year-old in Nebraska was arrested and charged with a DUI after huffing in front of police officer. The man had crashed his truck into a building. Witnesses state that he was incoherent. Officers corroborated as he appeared high and incoherent. In addition to being charged with a DUI, he was also arrested on suspicion of tampering with evidence, obstructing an officer, and inhaling intoxicating substance.

Police arrested a woman who had huffed from an aerosol can, crashed her car, and continued to huff in a store bathroom after leaving the scene. She is charged with illegal use of certain solvents, DUI by solvent, public drunkenness, and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property. She admitted that huffing played a role in the crash.

UK Motorist Arrested for Huffing Laughing Gas While Driving

A 21 year-old Manchester woman was huffing laughing gas or nitrous oxide from a balloon and lost control while she was driving, injuring herself and the two passengers inside. Her vehicle hit a van head on causing minor injuries to the other driver. She has been banned from driving for 34 months and has been jailed for 20 months. She has been sentenced for causing serious injuries to her two passengers.

Police in Maine arrest two men for stealing air duster and huffing. The 21-year-old driver, inhaled the aerosol computer duster before crashing the car into the side of a store.The 36-year-old passenger went into the store and stole the duster before giving it to the driver. Both men suffered minor injuries. The driver has been charged with driving to endanger while the passenger has been charged with shoplifting.
