Drug Resistance Education Needed for Teens

New York, New York: A Survey conducted by the National Institutes of Drug Abuse, NIH, found that there has been a decline in the perceived risk of using certain substances. There was a decrease in the amount of 10th graders that found the regular use of inhalants to be harmful.

Teen Steals Inhalants and Huffs Outside Store

Birmingham, Michigan: A teenager was arrested for allegedly stealing eight cans of duster and huffing the contents. She has been charged with retail fraud, consumption/inhalation of a prohibited chemical agent and resisting/obstructing a police officer.

Man Arrested for Inhalant Use Following Road Incident

Fairfield, Connecticut: A man ran his vehicle into a utility pole. Officers found that the man discarded a bag at a local gas station containing a cold can of compressed air. Man was charged with operating under the influence of an inhalant.
