In West Virginia a 28-year-old man was arrested a second time for violently robbing a woman in a grocery store parking lot. He tried to rob her and hit her in the face. Police say he was high from huffing paint. The man had previously been arrested last year for huffing paint and assaulting an officer. He has been charged with armed robbery.

Police in Seattle Arrest A Man for Huffing while Driving

Police arrested a man in downtown Seattle for huffing paint while driving. The 37-year-old driver crashed through a city traffic control arm before going the wrong direction down a one way street. Even though there were cans of paint in his car, the driver denied huffing. The man was arrested for driving under the influence and a hit-and-run.

South Carolina Inhalant Case Leads to Police Discoveries

A South Carolina woman reported her boyfriend to the authorities for huffing paint. When they arrived, he "told the deputies that he didn’t know how the gold paint got [around his mouth and tongue] because he couldn’t remember painting anything. The deputies reported that he showed symptoms of inhalant abuse. Some of those symptoms, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, could include 'dizziness, drowsiness, slurred speech, lethargy, depressed reflexes, general muscle weakness, and stupor.'"
The discovery also prompted removal of a child from the home, as the trailer home was unfit for living. The police reported that the caller was intoxicated on alcohol, and the home was covered in feces, bugs, and garbage.
