Driving Under the Influence in Arkansas

A 17-year-old from Gravette, Arkansas was arrested this past Tuesday after inhaling dust remover and driving. He was driving at 10:00 in the morning when his car ran into a ditch at the side of the road, hit a sewer, and flipped over. It then collided with the back of a National Home Center truck.

Both the driver and his passenger were taken to Northwest Medical Center for minor injuries. The driver of the truck was not hurt.

The 17-year-old had inhaled dust remover prior to driving, and was arrested for driving under the influence, careless and prohibited driving, and not wearing a seat belt.

I guess that some kids think they can get away with an inhalent high whilst driving which is very worrying.
I've not heard about it in the UK but it's probably happening here as well.
Thank you for the heads-up - it's always better to know about these things earlier so I can talk to the people who might be tempted; before they're tempted.

It's true - a lot of kids (and adults too) either don't realize or ignore the dangers of huffing while driving. Almost every week we get news reports of someone who passed out from getting high (almost always from computer duster) and drove their car off the road.
