Via the Daytona Beach News Journal in Florida:
Police found three men huffing nitrous oxide from balloons in a parking lot and were notified that the owner of a nearby store sold the substance to the men and taught them how to abuse it.
Two undercover officers then entered the store and asked to purchase “nitrous oxide and the paraphernalia used to inhale it.” The owner showed them how to inhale the substance. One officer went back into the store a second time indicating it wasn’t working and the owner “told her she was doing it wrong and he took her in the back and taught her how to do it."
Police recovered $600 worth of nitrous oxide and paraphernalia from the shop and the owner and one employee were charged with “sale of harmful chemicals and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
