New Jersey Man Hufffing Inhalants While Ridng a Motorized Wheelchair

Via the Newark Advocate in New Jersey:
Twice in two days police have responded for a report of a man riding a motorized wheelchair while abusing inhalants.
On June 29th officers responding to the report found a man inside a home huffing computer duster. They noticed the wheelchair outside contained cans of computer duster and they heard “what sounded like the dispensing of an aerosol can coming from inside the apartment.”  Through the screen door they saw the man huffing and when they tried to handcuff him he took the “can with his free hand, put it in his mouth and inhaled the contents once more.” He was treated at the hospital but not arrested.

The following morning at 6:15 am, police responded to the call and found the same man inhaling from a can of computer duster. He wasn’t arrested but police are considering submitting the report for “charges of abusing a harmful intoxicant.” The man told police he abuses inhalants for pain.
