High Speed Chase Led By Woman Under the Influence of Inhalants

A 45-year-old woman was sentenced May 26 after leading authorities on a 110-mph chase while huffing computer duster.

The woman was sentenced to three years in prison and two years probation on the counts of DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude police, resisting arrest and causing an accident to an unattended vehicle.

The woman fled the scene after striking another vehicle while turning. After police were called she was found and pulled over. When the trooper approached her she refused to put her window down, screamed obscenities at him and accelerated away almost hitting the officer.

She then lost control and crashed into an embankment. When a trooper arrived she sped away almost hitting him as well.

The chase continued on as she weaved in and out of lanes on both sides of the road. When police finally caught up with her they had to break her window and force her out of the car to arrest her.

The woman had a number of cans in the vehicle and was under the influence during the arrest.

The woman plead guilty leading to her sentence.
