Man Huffs and Hits Woman and Child

A man huffed dusting chemicals before hitting a mother carrying her child with a U-Haul. Witnesses reported seeing the U-Haul hit property earlier in the day. He was charged with reckless driving resulting in bodily injury and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

A man, half-naked and inhaling compressed air in a fast food bathroom, was arrested. The man told the police he had an addiction to inhaling the compressed air. After being transported to the hospital, he was charged with abusing harmful intoxicants.

Man Sentenced to Prison in Huffing Related Car Crash

Jury convicted a man of gross vehicular manslaughter for crashing into a car after huffing computer duster. A 9-year-old girl sustained brain damage and was pronounced dead a number of days later. The man faces ten years in prison. The man had four cans of computer duster in his vehicle and had elevated levels of the chemical found in the duster, difluorethane.

A 34-year-old in Nebraska was arrested and charged with a DUI after huffing in front of police officer. The man had crashed his truck into a building. Witnesses state that he was incoherent. Officers corroborated as he appeared high and incoherent. In addition to being charged with a DUI, he was also arrested on suspicion of tampering with evidence, obstructing an officer, and inhaling intoxicating substance.

Woman Crashes Vehicle, Goes to Store to Continue to Huff

Police arrested a woman who had huffed from an aerosol can, crashed her car, and continued to huff in a store bathroom after leaving the scene. She is charged with illegal use of certain solvents, DUI by solvent, public drunkenness, and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property. She admitted that huffing played a role in the crash.

Man Goes to Retrial for Manslaughter Case

A man goes to retrial after pleading guilty to gross vehicular manslaughter after crashing into a car while high from huffing duster. A nine-year-old girl died 12 days later from complications from a brain injury. Five canisters of computer cleaner was found in his vehicle and high levels of difluorethane was found in his blood. His defense attorney claims his behavior was due to  a prescription drug he had been taking.

A man in Easton, Florida was arrested for spraying graffiti while huffing duster. The man initially provided police with a false name and date of birth. He was charged with criminal mischief  illegal use of solvents. He was also arrested as a previous warrant had been issued for fraud charges.

Indiana Man Dies from Huffing

A 34-year-old man died after huffing. Police and paramedics arrived at his home early that morning. Police saw him huffing from an aerosol can, the man became combative when police took the can away. Two tasers were reportedly required to subdue and handcuff him. He was taken by police to the emergency room but was pronounced dead shortly after. An autopsy report will be available within a few weeks. The man had a long history of drug abuse.

Woman Back Her Car into Another Vehicle After Huffing

A shopper returned to his car to find that someone had backed into it and was still idling. The woman was unconscious. When police arrived, they found the aerosol can cleaner that she had been inhaling to get high. She was medically evaluated and ticketed.

A New Hampshire man appeared to be huffing when a report was made to the police. A police officer found the man semi-conscious. He was arrested after paramedics were called to the scene. His court date is set for early next month.
